Manchester City are drawing 0-0 against Brentford at the Etihad Stadium. Man City needs a win in today’s game against Brentford to get closer to Liverpool and be only a point off them in the league. Man City lost their 11-game winning streak against Chelsea but would like to start another winning streak against Brentford.

Erling Haaland won a great ball off a Brentford right-wing back, Reguilon. Haaland took a shot on target early in the first few minutes, but his shot went straight at Flekken. Man City were playing in Brentford’s half as they tried to get the opener in the first ten minutes. Phil Foden took a shot from outside the box, but a Brentford defender blocked the attempt that was heading towards the net.

In the 16th minute, Brentford had a clear chance to score the opener. Onyeka ran with pace towards the net. Wissa gave him a great ball, but Kyle Walker was catching him up. Under pressure, he took a tame shot straight at Ederson, and the Brazilian made an easy save. Brentford was close again a few minutes later when the Bees had a free kick.
