Liverpool has suffered many injuries this season, along with many clubs in the Premier League, like Newcastle United, Manchester United, and Chelsea. Liverpool has used many different lineups this season in all competitions, not just for rotation but to cover the injuries. Dominik Szoboszlai suffered an injury after the first game of the year against Newcastle United. He returned in late January against Norwich and even played against Chelsea on the last day of January. After that, the Hungarian player was sidelined for an injury and now could miss a few more weeks.

Thiago Alcantara has been out due to injury since April 2023 and returned to action in the recent game against Arsenal. He only played 10 minutes, but he suffered another injury again. Thiago could potentially return again this season, but his career at Liverpool seems close to be over. Trent Alexander Arnold faced something similar as they suffered an injury against Arsenal in early January in the FA Cup. He came back a few weeks later against Norwich and played against Chelsea and Arsenal in the Premier League coming off the bench. He started his first game last week against Burnley but was subbed out as a precaution. Reports suggest Trent will be out for weeks, including the EFL Cup final against Chelsea on February 25.

Alisson Becker suffered a hamstring injury and will not play against Brentford

Liverpool has suffered another injury blow as the Liverpool Echo has confirmed Alisson had picked up a hamstring injury. Alisson will undergo tests on Saturday to clarify how serious the injury is and how long he will be out. The Brazilian goalkeeper is expected to miss the Brentford game.
