Alonso played in Bayern Munich in his career, which could lure him to join them, but he has set his eyes on Liverpool instead.
According to a report from reliable journalist Santi Aouna, as things stand, Xabi Alonso prefers to join Liverpool rather than Bayern Munich. He seems to have a better connection with Liverpool as a club and has spoken in the past about wanting his son to become a Liverpool supporter. Alonso said, "I am still a Liverpool fan and will be forever! Hopefully, I can transmit to my son what Liverpool means and how special it is. He was born in the city, and he will visit it in the future.”

Jurgen Klopp wins the Premier League's January Manager of the Month award
For the 10th time in his career, Jurgen Klopp won Manager of the Month in the Premier League. He is among the only five managers to reach ten or more Manager of the Month awards. David Moyes also has 10, while Pep Guardiola has 11. Arsene Wenger won 15, while Sir Alex Ferguson won 27.
