Guardiola vs Klopp last dance? The only way it could happen this season

The two managers could not face each other this season unless certain results happen.

Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola could potentially face each other again this season.

The Liverpool vs. Manchester City game this month at Anfield was once again intense. Manchester City took control in the first half with clear chances and took the lead away from home. The second half showcased the opposite as Liverpool grabbed an equalizer and dominated Man City with many chances created. The game ended 1-1 and marked the last game between Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola with these two sides in the Premier League. Jurgen Klopp will not change his mind, and he will Liverpool at the end of the season. While Man City and Liverpool cannot play each other anymore for the remainder of the season, there is one way these two sides can meet late in the season.

Liverpool is currently 2nd in the Premier League with 64 points and is tied with Arsenal, but due to their goal difference being lower, Arsenal is at the top of the league table. Manchester City is third with 63 points, and the title race is between the three teams. If Arsenal fades away from the title race and it goes between Liverpool and Manchester City, there could be a potential play-off game at the end of the season.

Liverpool and Manchester City drew 1-1 in both games against each other in the Premier League this season. Their goal difference is similar as well since Liverpool's is +39 and Man City's is +35. The two teams are only separated by one point. If Liverpool and Man City are tied by goal difference and points, both sides would have to face each other in a playoff at a neutral ground to determine the Premier League winner this season. This would not be the case for Arsenal since they have beaten Liverpool and Man City in the league this season.
