Manchester City and Liverpool have reportedly shown interest in two Bayern Munich players this summer to add more quality to their squads. Joshua Kimmich seemed like the main target for both teams since he showed unhappiness a few weeks back. The German midfielder has reportedly expressed his interest in joining a Premier League team this summer, with Manchester City and Liverpool being the most interested. While Kimmich seems like a deal they could complete, the two Premier League clubs are also interested in another Bayern Munich player who has issues with his contract that needs to be resolved.

Manchester City and Liverpool are interested in Bayern Munich's Jamal Musiala. Musiala's contract with Bayern expires in 2026, and the player is not one of the top earners in the squad despite being one of the most crucial players in the team. Musiala's situation is something that Man City and Liverpool want to take advantage of and offer him a big deal to convince him to join the Premier League.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Bayern are preparing their new contract proposal for Jamal Musiala, to be discussed in the next months. Extending Musiala's contract with a salary rise is one of the top priorities for the club as the current deal expires in June 2026, and several top clubs keep monitoring Jamal. Musiala played another great game for Bayern over the weekend as he scored two goals and provided an assist in Bayern Munich's 5-2 win against SV Darmstadt in the Bundesliga.

Thomas Tuchel reacted to Jamal Musiala's performance for Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel was once again impressed by Musiala as he scored a brace and provided an assist. Tuchel said, " Jamal has been a difference-maker in the past few weeks. His potential is obvious, but his efficiency has not always been as we had hoped this season. Now he feels fit and comfortable in his position. He's now reached a very good level, and we can rely on him. His decision-making is currently very good. We hope he can keep this level up, and we'll continue to push him."
