Liverpool legend mocks Rio Ferdinand on social media after epic FA Cup match

Manchester United defeated Liverpool 4-3 in extra time, and they knocked out their rivals in the last minute. The win has given Man United lots of joy. Even Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand couldn't help but post how he felt about the win against Liverpool on social media. The Man United players and the current manager, Erik Ten Hag, were happy with the result.

Ten Hag spoke about his team's epic win against Liverpool and said, "When it's Manchester United against Liverpool, it's one of the world's best football matches. It is historical. I thought first 35 minutes were the best I have seen from my team this season. We dropped off the level after that. You could see Liverpool were a very good team. We believed in our style and took our chances."

Ten Hag continues and says, "The team showed resilience and determination to win this game. We've had so many set backs. We are very strong mentally. We energized the fans, they got behind us, and we won. We are still fighting. For a long time in the season, we are far behind that level but we are putting pressure on Spurs and Villa. Every game is a final, and we lost one final against Fulham. Our goal is the Champions League and silverware."

Rio Ferdinand took the opportunity to go on X and post a picture of him playing for United and celebrating in front of Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher. Ferdinand wrote, "Wembley!" Carragher responded quickly and made fun of Ferdinand.

Jamie Carragher says to Ferdinand that Man United will lose the FA Cup final

Manchester United will play Coventry City in the FA Cup semifinal and Manchester City will play Chelsea in the other semifinal.
