Great news for FC Barcelona and Xavi, the two players soon fit to play again

FC Barcelona fans are content with how their team has recently been performing. Barcelona won another La Liga game over the weekend after the Catalan side defeated Las Palmas 1-0 at home. Raphinha scored the only goal of the game and his form seems to start picking up again. Barcelona fans are also satisfied with the performances of Joao Felix and seeing the return of Ferran Torres, who was injured since late January. The team seems to be in good form as they now extend their unbeaten streak to 11 consecutive games. Barcelona will have more than a week to recover as they won't play a La Liga game this weekend. The team's next game will be against PSG in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals.

FC Barcelona will play PSG at the Parc des Princes next Wednesday, April 10th, and the team has a lot of time to prepare. Xavi is counting on his players available to deliver a great performance against the French giants. Xavi and the club could receive great news as two crucial players could be back in time for the match.

RAC 1 reports that Barça expects all players (excluding Gavi and Alejandro Balde) to be available against PSG for the first leg. Pedri and Frenkie De Jong are to start training with the group this week to be fit on time for Paris. Frenkie De Jong is reportedly the favorite out of the two to recover quickly, and he is set to be available for the first leg vs PSG if all goes well. Pedri is also aiming for the first leg, but his presence isn’t looking as certain as De Jong's yet but he is more likely available for the second leg.

Pedri and Frenkie De Jong were injured in the same game

Pedri and Frenkie De Jong suffered injuries in the game against Athletic Bilbao in early March. The pair were subbed off in the first half of that game, which ended in a 0-0 draw at the San Mames Stadium.
