Roberto De Zerbi has become a favorite of many big European clubs this summer to take over as their next coach. FC Barcelona, Liverpool, and Bayern Munich are looking to appoint a new manager this summer after their managers will leave the clubs in different circumstances. De Zerbi has reportedly been on the shortlist for these three clubs, and many football fans are unsure where he could coach next season. The Italian has a contract with Brighton and Hove Albion until 2026, and he likely won't stay at the club for much longer. De Zerbi hinted about his future after Brighton's 2-1 loss at Anfield today in the Premier League.

De Zerbi spoke after the Liverpool game about his future, and it left the three clubs interested in him paying attention. De Zerbi said, "I’m gonna speak to Tony Bloom about next season plans and then I’ll decide. To work next season at Brighton, I don't need to extend. Now we have finished the discussion about contracts, but not because I have decided yet, it’s still open."

Before the game, De Zerbi said, "I want to keep my ambition and my motivation. I really live 24 hours a day for football. I want to understand Brighton’s plan and project because if I don’t feel comfortable, I can’t stay anymore."

Liverpool's coach, Jurgen Klopp, admired De Zerbi after the game, which could hint that the club might consider him as Klopp's replacement. Klopp said, "Ripping Mac Allister out of this team, all respect not only him, Chelsea took Caicedo and that was the engine room of the team. What a heck of a job he’s doing!”
