Chelsea will take on Leeds United in the 5th round of the FA Cup at Stamford Bridge. Leeds United is in the Championship, but the last time these two teams faced each other was last year in the Premier League. Chelsea won 1-0 against Leeds at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea is desperate to advance to the next round to forget the recent Cup final loss this past weekend.

Chelsea come from a 1-0 loss in the EFL Carabao Cup final against Liverpool. Chelsea has lost six straight domestic cup finals since 2019. Chelsea have been trophyless since 2021 and are looking to win the FA Cup since it’s the only trophy possible to win this season. Chelsea will have to get past Leeds United to get further into the FA Cup competition. Chelsea’s last win was against Crystal Palace, where they won 3-1 away from home. They got to this point in the FA Cup after beating Aston Villa 3-1 away from home.

Leeds United is second in the Championship with 72 points and looks like one of the favorites to be promoted to the Premier League next season. Their last game was a 3-1 win against Championship leaders Leicester City, who are on 78 points. Leeds United is in great form as they are on a six-game winning streak. Leeds United has yet to lose a game since late December. Leeds got to this round of the FA Cup after beating Plymouth Argyle 4-1 in a replay fixture.

Chelsea starts with Robert Sanchez in goal with a back four of Gilchrist, Disasi, Chalobah, and Malo Gusto. Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo are the two defensive midfielders. Madueke, Mudryk, and Sterling will play behind Nicolas Jackson.

Leeds starts with Meslier in goal, with a back four of Roberts, Rodon, Cooper, and Junior Firpo. Ampadu and Gray will be holding midfielders. Daniel James, Anthony, and Joseph will play behind Piroe.
