In an interview with Mundo Deportivo, Laporta was asked many questions in regards to FC Barcelona and what fans could expect next season. One of the topics he discussed was the potential to sign star players like Erling Haaland. When asked if Barcelona would be able to or are looking to sign a star like Haaland, Laporta said, " You are confusing the media player with the player who fits the team. There will be one or two deals to improve the team, players of the level of Lamine, Lewandowski, Felix, Ferran, and Raphinha, who are performing great, and also Roque, who is in the process of adapting."

Next year, we will return with Gavi, who gives us energy, and Frenkie and Pedri, who are world-class players."
