Aston Villa and Manchester United will face each other at Villa Park in another close Premier League match. Both sides are one position off each other, with Villa sitting in 5th place while Man United sits in 6th place at the Premier League table. Their last encounter was at Old Trafford, which witnessed a dramatic 3-2 win comeback from Manchester United.

Aston Villa has not come from a good week ahead of the Manchester United game. Villa lost 3-1 to Chelsea in the FA Cup replay of the 4th round. That makes it two losses in a row at Villa Park, which was a fortress earlier in the season. Villa's last home game in the Premier League was a 3-1 loss to Newcastle United. Aston Villa did win 5-0 against Sheffield United in their last Premier League game. Villa are on 46 points and a win could put them at 49 points in 4th place, ahead of Tottenham with 47 points.

Manchester United are on fire in the past few games. Man United have won their last three matches in all competitions. They defeated West Ham United 3-0 at home in their last Premier League match. Their last away game was the crazy 4-3 comeback win against Wolves. Man United are on 38 points in 6th place, but a win against Aston Villa could put them closer to Champions League spots, a goal that reached too far a few weeks ago. A win can put them at 41 points, and they will be only 5 points away from Villa and 6 points away from 4th place Tottenham.
