As Lionel Messi watched, Suarez scores header in Inter Miami's 1-1 draw v NYCFC

Inter Miami drew 1-1 against New York City FC at the Chase Stadium. Inter Miami are now third in the Eastern Conference with 11 points after seven games played this 2024 MLS Season. After seven games, their record is three wins, two draws, and two losses. Inter Miami will now prepare to host Monterrey in the CONCACAF Cup quarterfinals this Wednesday at the Chase Stadium.

Lionel Messi is still injured from a muscle injury, but he was watching the game in person. Inter Miami and New York City FC had chances early in the first half, but it was the hosts who opened the score. Luis Suarez won a free kick in the 13th minute, and he would score from that free kick. Luis Suarez almost scored the winner but ended even for both teams
