Liverpool has many players in their squad that is a fan favorite. Mohamed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk, Alisson, Darwin Nunez, and Trent Alexander-Arnold are some of the most popular names on the team right now, and for good reason. Liverpool are second in the Premier League with 64 points and has the same points as league leaders Arsenal. The Gunners have the edge because of their goal difference being +46 compared to the Reds' +39. A Liverpool legend chose his favorite Liverpool player on the team when a video on social media showed him doing some boxing training.

The Liverpool legend who practiced boxing was former Liverpool striker Fernando Torres. Torres was seen wearing a Trent Alexander-Arnold shirt whilst doing some boxing training. Torres played 142 games for Liverpool, scoring 81 goals and providing 20 assists. Torres surprised the football community a few years back when he revealed how muscular he got compared to his football days. Torres played at his boyhood clubs, Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, AC Milan, and Sagan Tosu. Torres is the manager of the Atletico Madrid U19 team.

Next week, Torres will play at Anfield again in the LFC Legends match against Ajax. Torres will play at Anfield for the first time since an all-star charity game in 2015. The friendly game next week will be on March 23rd, and he will play with other club legends like Djibril Cisse and Ryan Babel. Alexander-Arnold must have been excited to see the former Spanish striker wear his shirt. Liverpool fans are now waiting to see Alexander-Arnold himself to play at Anfield again as he recovers from his injury.

Trent Alexander Arnold could be back after the international break

Jurgen Klopp talked about the injuries in his team and mentioned that Trent, along with other players, could be fit after the international break. Klopp said, "Curtis [Jones], Diogo [Jota], and Trent the week after, chance. Stefan Bajcetic is now in his pre season to build his match fitness, in a much better place now, he will be part of team training after international break."
