After two years full of joy, Atlanta United Football Club is not leaving their best MLS moments. The quick departure of Gonzalo Pity Martinez has left a blank spot in the team that is still far from being filled. However, the last year's US Open Cup champions directives acted rapidly and are about to sign Pity's replacement: Marcelino Moreno.
Last week here in El Futbolero we have announced that Atlanta United was negotiating with Club Atlético Lanús to acquire the attacking-winger born in Mendoza, Argentina. According to Cesar Luis Merlo and Mariano Antico, he is near to transform in the new Atlanta's signing for the 100% of the player's soccer rights.
The only thing that is missing is that the Argentinean team wants to keep a percentage in case that the 25-year-old soccer player is sold in the future. According to Transfermarkt, Moreno's transfer fee would be around 4.5 million dollars. He would sign a DP contract and try to fill that blank that Martinez left.
