Until a few days ago when the call for the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers was released, everything was excitement and happiness in Martino's squad.

However, a few days after the announcement, it has been revealed that there are at least two players who are out of the Mexican national soccer team for the qualifiers.

To replace Jonathan Orozco, "Tata" called on Carlos Acevedo, the Santos Laguna goalkeeper. And to deal with Pizarro's absence, the chosen one is Roberto "Piojo" Alvarado

And with the suspense on top, there is a third player that could enter this list.

Gerardo Martino will be without these players for the World Cup qualifiers

The 2 players whose absence from the World Cup Qualifiers has been confirmed are Xolos de Tijuana goalkeeper Jonathan Orozco, and Rayados de Monterrey midfielder Rodolfo Pizarro.

According to the information provided by the General Sports Directorate, both players are out of the Mexico National Team's training camp due to injuries.

Orozco's injury occurred in the game against Club Tijuana, where the goalkeeper showed pain in his right back thigh, so his team's medical staff performed a study, which revealed a muscle injury in the right femoral biceps.

With this injury, Orozco says goodbye to the Concacaf World Cup Qualifying, in which the Mexican national soccer team still has matches to play against its confederation's rivals.

These rivals are the United States, Honduras, and El Salvador on March 24, 27, and 30. But he is not the only one who will miss his chance to play these matches.

Rodolfo Pizarro, after undergoing the scheduled tests, was confirmed to have a muscle injury in the hamstring of his right thigh, which he sustained during his last match with Club Monterrey.

Therefore, the "Joker" will not be ready to play next Thursday, March 24, against Gregg Berhalter's Stars and Stripes.

Who is the third player who will be out of the Mexican national soccer team?

The third player to miss the Mexican national soccer team for the World Cup Qualifying Round is Néstor Araújo, defender of Celta de Vigo, as he did not finish his club's match against Betis

Araújo left the field in the 68th minute and it is not yet known how serious his injury is or if it will prevent him from playing in the World Cup Qualifying, although El Tri fans fear the worst.

But it will not be until Gerardo Martino's medical staff assesses it that it will be known if Araújo will be available for the World Cup Qualifying or if he will have to support his teammates from the bench.
