Since then, Gerardo “Tata” Martino hasn’t called him, not even after “Chicharito” regained his shape last season with LA Galaxy, where he scored 17 goals and assisted three occasions, showing that he’s the scorer that everyone was used to.

Now, “Tata” Martino is considering calling him again, after realizing that Rogelio Funes Mori and Henry Martín are not the answer to El Tri’s offensive needs. But not everyone is happy with Martino’s decision, as some players consider Hernández is problematical, to say the least.

Who doesn’t want “chicharito” back with El Tri?

According to reports, Guillermo Ochoa, one of El Tri’s leaders in the dressing room, is against his return to Mexico National Team, and he’s even considering hurrying his retirement from the Aztec squad if Martino decides to give Hernández another opportunity.
