Not everyone in El Tri like Carlos Vela, which is why this player will retire if he returns

And the 32-year-old right-winger knows that he still has much to give to El Tri, which is why he’s considering arriving in Liga MX for Apertura 2022, when his contract with Los Angeles FC expires, to finally be on Gerardo Martino’s radar.

Vela will become a free agent over the summer and has set his mind to play for Mexico National Team in Qatar 2022, but some players inside El Tri aren’t happy with his decision, which is why Guillermo Ochoa will step down from El Tri, alongside Héctor Moreno and Andrés Guardado, if Martino decides to call him.

Which Liga MX teams are interested in him?

After rumors started going around, at least five Liga MX clubs started pursuing the acquisition of Carlos Vela, as they know his addition not only will elevate their level on the pitch, but it will also help attract more sponsors. So far, Club América, Tigres, Chivas, Monterrey and Cruz Azul have been linked with Vela.
