Reports suggest that Carlos Vela is willing to return to El Tri, especially in a year where the World Cup is set to be played, and although he has six more months of contract with Los Angeles FC, Vela is thinking of arriving in Liga MX in order to be considered by Martino for the last El Tri matches before Qatar 2022.

Who will step down if Vela arrives?

Reports suggest that Héctor Moreno is considering retiring from Mexico National Team after the 2022 FIFA World Cup, as he feels his time has come, but Vela’s arrival in El Tri could speed things up, and he will join Andrés Guardado as the players that are against a new call for Vela.
