A lot has been said about Javier “Chicharito” Hernández future, especially with El Tri, as he gains back his shape and scoring abilities, after scoring 17 goals in only 20 matches he disputed with LA Galaxy last season, although his performances didn’t help Galaxy to reach the MLS postseason.

Some people, including Guillermo Ochoa, think he should be called back to play with Mexico National Team, as one of the main problems Gerardo “Tata” Martino’s squad faces is the lack of goals that no striker has been able to break after Raúl Jiménez’s head injury that kept him off the pitches for a long time.

One of the main players in El Tri will oppose to the returning of “Chicharito”, as he is known by his displays outside the pitch, something that Andrés Guardado won’t tolerate anymore as he becomes a distraction for the rest of the players rather than a helpful influence.

What could happen if Chicharito wants to return to El Tri?

Although Guardado has stated that he’s not on board with a new call for Hernández and he even be ready to close his chapter with El Tri if that happens, he already made a truce with Gillermo Ochoa to keep things steady at the inside of Mexico National Team, something that “Chicharito” could use in his advantage to make a case to earn back a call, as he is now a more mature and centered player.
