Televisa gives Gerardo Martino all these luxuries, but he still doesn’t care for Mexico National Team

Mexico National Team hasn’t guaranteed their assistance to the 2022 FIFA World Cup after a disappointing 2021 where they weren’t able to beat Canada MNT and lost three games in a row against USMNT.

But that’s only the start of the criticism that El Tri and Gerardo “Tata” Martino have received, as the Argentinian coach has closed the doors for a lot of players, some of them have disagreed with Martino before, and the others haven’t even been considered as they’re not as experienced as Martino would like.

It has become obvious that for the remainder of the World Cup Qualifiers, Martino will call the same players again and again, even though Televisa and Mexico National Team sponsors have given him all the luxuries he’s asked.

What luxuries has Martino asked as El Tri coach?

When “Tata” Martino arrived in Mexico, he requested to have a box on every stadium of Liga MX to attend the games in order to see have the best Mexican players available for him, something that is clear hasn’t happened, at least in the last year.
