Raúl Jiménez couldn’t be part of Mexico National Team’s game against Jamaica after suffering an injury that kept him out of the pitch on his last game with Wolves. He’s didn’t travel with El Tri to Kingston in hopes of being fully recovered for Sunday’s game against Costa Rica in Estadio Azteca.

Funes Mori might be the main problem with Mexico National

But that didn’t stop him from following the game from El Tri’s camp, as he manifested on social media, where he was active while the game was on. He took the time to comment on the failed attempt that Rogelio Funes Mori had on the first half.

“El Mellizo” had the chance to open the score when he received the ball in the penalty box, but instead of shooting, he decided to fall, hoping for the referee to call a penalty that never existed. El Tri played better soccer once Funer Mori was subbed and even managed to win the game.

After tonight’s game, Martino should stop calling these players once and for all

Who can be the forward El Tri needs?

It’s clear that neither Funes Mori nor Henry Martín can fill the spot left by Raúl Jiménez, but Gerardo “Tata” Martino has closed the doors to better strikers than them. According to reports, Javier “Chicharito” Hernández is willing to apologize to Martino in order to return to El Tri, something that the Argentinian coach might have to think about if he wants things to change.

Marcelo Flores is another option, as the 18-year-old striker hasn’t given up hope of playing for Martino and currently is on Mexico National Team camp, given he received the call to be part of El Tri U-20 squad, and would be ready to go if needed.
