In Round 18 of the Premier League, there was a clash of CONCACAF players, and although they tried their best, Raul Jimenez and Christian Pulisic played out a scoreless draw in Wolves vs Chelsea

The Round was played with fewer matches than expected due to the resurgence of the COVID-19 epidemic that has caused several contagions in teams, including Manchester United.

And one of the four matches that could be played was Wolves vs Chelsea, in a duel in which everything seemed to be in favor of the Blues; but Wolves did not give up their arms and got a valuable 0-0 draw

However, the CONCACAF strikers were starters in their matches and enjoy the full confidence of their coaches, so it is worth reviewing the actions of the match.

Christian Pulisic still can't find the net

The Hershey, Pennsylvania native was finally able to return to action after recovering from an injury that kept him away from the courts.

And despite having the full confidence of Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel, the striker has yet to find the back of the net.

The problem for the player is that this has become a streak and he still cannot respond to the confidence of his coach, who even lined him up in the Blues' 1-1 draw against Everton, the player's first match after recovering from his injury.

The ankle injury that affected the player occurred while playing in his national team's match against Honduras in the CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers

However, Tuchel has trusted the player and has been gradually giving him minutes so that he can show his goal-scoring ability, something that has not happened in a while.

The last time Pulisic scored was in Chelsea's resounding 3-0 win over Leicester. In that match, Pulisic capped off the scoring by netting the third goal in the 71st minute, which helped his team move up the Premier League standings.

However, Pulisic has not scored in five games in the Premier League. In the Champions League, he scored only one goal in the group stage against Zenit, totaling two goals and one assist for the season in all competitions.

The figure does not sound alarming but the name of the American striker is already beginning to sound like one of the possible departures of the club in the winter market

Christian Pulisic is practically in a race against time because Tuchel still does not consider him a starter and the player needs playing minutes to arrive with a good rhythm to the World Cup in Qatar 2022.

Raul Jimenez was a starter but came off 10 minutes before the end

For their part, the Mexican Wolf was also unable to find the Blue Lions' net despite trying on several occasions.

And although he was unable to score in the match, he did not leave empty-handed as he was able to get two yellow cards from the Chelsea defense.

However, the Mexican somehow "stole" the victory for his team due to an offside.

In the 14th minute of the match, Fernando Marçal sent across to Daniel Podence right in the opponent's area, who pushed the ball to score for his team.

However, the play was reviewed with the VAR and the goal was disallowed because Raul Jimenez was offside at the time of the action.
