"Neither Pizarro nor Córdoba deserve to go to Qatar 2022": TV Azteca commentator blasts two of Martino's favorites on air

The years in which the Mexican press was dedicated to blindly supporting the Mexican national soccer team are over, as there are now many media outlets that are more critical of El Tri's performance, much to the displeasure of Gerardo Martino, whose process at the helm of El Tri has not been very well received because his style of play is not to their liking.

And in the Mexican press, although in the past there was almost solemn respect for El Tri, nowadays the press has much more freedom of expression, so now it is easier to see that certain soccer commentators have no mercy in the face of the Mexican team's mistakes.

And it is from TV Azteca where the harshest criticism against El Tri has been seen, especially from figures such as Christian Martinoli or Luis García, who have shamelessly criticized players who do not feel the colors of the uniform or who do not die on the field. But one of the TV Azteca team decided to go further with his criticism. 

David Medrano annihilated Rodolfo Pizarro and Sebastián Córdoba

During the broadcast of the Mexican national soccer team's match against Suriname, TV Azteca commentator and reporter David Medrano showed no mercy and annihilated Rodolfo Pizarro and Sebastián Córdoba, of whom he said that both do not deserve to go to Qatar 2022 since both players do not contribute anything to the Mexican national soccer team.

It should be remembered that neither Pizarro nor Córdoba stars in their clubs, so Medrano's remarks are not without arguments.
