The strange request that Hirving Lozano made to Napoli will put him closer to Real Madrid

One of the things that they intend to resolve over the summer is the economic problems they’ve been facing lately, something that has made them put all of the team transferable, especially the players with the highest market value, like Hirving “Chucky” Lozano.

Lozano arrived at Napoli for the 2019-20 season thanks to Carlo Ancelotti, who was coaching the Azzurri back then and personally requested his addition. But since his departure, “Chucky” has had troubles establishing as a regular player.

Although he’s said that the relationship with Luciano Spalletti, current Napoli coach, is good, and that he wants to stay in Napoli and fulfill his contract, he knows that if a good offer comes from one of Europe’s best teams arrives, he won’t miss the chance.

Napoli is ready to sell him

One of the things that says that Napoli is ready to sell Hirving Lozano is that they already acquire a new right-winger, younger and with a lower salary, as according to reports, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will join the Azzurri over the summer.

But that doesn’t necessarily mean bad news for “Chucky” Lozano, as reports from Il Mattino di Napoli informed that Napoli is willing to sell him over the summer to Premier League side Liverpool now that the Reds have showed interest in him.

According to the report, if an offer arrives from Liverpool, they will be open to negotiate for his transfer and they even are willing to lower the asking price, not only to fulfill Lozano’s wishes but also to earn back part of the investment they did when they acquired him.

How much are Napoli asking for him?

Although the Azzurri were asking for over $50 million during the winter transfer window, they know that if they want to sell him over the summer, they have to ask for less than that, which is why they are willing to let him go for $36 million.
