Mexico National Team still must play tonight against Panama in Estadio Azteca, but there’s people that are already placing Gerardo “Tata” Martino out of El Tri’s bench. If they manage to win, El Tri might go to sleep as the second standing in CONCACAF Qualifiers if results combine.

USMNT has the same number of points than El Tri but is above them on the standings given the goal difference. But that hasn’t stopped FMF to start looking for a replacement in case that Martino fails to accomplish his goal.
Miguel Herrera was the chosen coach by Yon de Luisa and the FMF, but they weren’t expecting that Herrera declined to return to El Tri given that “El Piojo” has unresolved issues with some of El Tri sponsors.
According to reports, Mexican Football Federation already started conversations with Javier Aguirre, who currently is coaching Monterrey but has been El Tri coach on two World Cups, something that could help him to understand things faster than other coach.
