The Argentinean press gave Martino a hard time.

Since he took over as coach of the Mexican national team, he has angered fans of El Tri because he has made several questionable decisions, such as fielding players who do not even play as starters in their teams or keeping players like Héctor Moreno, who has not been at a good level for a long time.

And undoubtedly one of the most frequent accusations against the coach is that he only manages El Tri for the money, as it is known that the Mexican Soccer Federation usually pays real fortunes to coaches who agree to manage the Mexican squad.

But this week from Argentina the same criticism was made to the coach since a controversial journalist accused the current coach of the Mexican national team is only in the project for the money.

From Argentina, they blasted Tata

Controversial journalist Flavio Azzaro was not afraid to say that Gerardo Martino is only in charge of the Mexican national soccer team for the money. "Tata Martino follows the same path, he only goes for the money", were the words that the sports commentator made about Martino, who coached the Albiceleste, and in that country many categorize him as a "fiasco" for not giving them any title in his two years in charge, losing two Copa América Finals in 2015 and 2016.
