José Juan Macías decided to try his luck and move to Europe to follow his dreams, as he felt Chivas and Liga MX were too small for him. He jumped on board with the first team that offered him a contract, and during the summer window transfer ho joined La Liga side Getafe CF.

Now, six months after his first adventure in Europe, the 22-year-old forward could be coming to an end, as Getafe management already said they’re already looking for a team that could take the remainder of his loan, as his not part of Quique Sánchez’s plans.

In Chivas they already closed the doors for his return this season, but reports suggest that a French team from Ligue 1 is interested in acquiring the promising forward, something that could work for Macías as he’ll have another chance, this time in a less competitive league.

Could he return to Liga MX?

He still has 6 months more on his loan, something Chivas has been clear about, and although his desire is to keep playing in Europe, Toluca might welcome the young player if he decides to return to Mexico, as Ignacio Ambríz is trying to establish a new system and rebuilding the roster.
