Mexico National Team couldn’t beat Costa Rica on the second game of the World Cup Qualifiers in Estadio Azteca on Sunday, as El Tri only managed to save a 0-0 draw after not being able to beat Keylor Navas on the few opportunities they had.

After the game, Gerardo “Tata” Martino was questioned during the press conference about the performance of El Tri, to what he answered not only the players were to blame, as he was the one that took the decisions: “It was a bad night for everyone, a bad night for my decisions.”
Mexico National Team looked at times without ideas, unsynchronized and lost on the pitch of Estadio Azteca, which led to the question of his future as El Tri coach, to what he replied that he plans on staying in his current position as long as he has the players support.

According to reports, Gerardo Martino received an ultimatum prior the start of the FIFA match window, where he was asked to gain at least 7 out of the 9 possible points available. So far, El tri has earned 4, which means he can still save his position if El Tri wins on Wednesday against Panama.
