Does Gerardo Martino have a plan if he is fired from El Tri?

Not only analyst and sports journalists are wondering if “Tata” Martino has what it needs to take El Tri to the 2022 FIFA World Cup, but Mexican followers have actually started to ask for his removal from the position.

Although it wasn’t transmitted on TV, after the game against Costa Rica, the few thousand people that were on the stands of Estadio Azteca questioned Martino’s continuity after chanting “Fuera Tata, Fuera Tata”, as a sign of the inconformity they’re feeling for the recent results.

Why it wasn’t noticeable on TV?

According to reports, FMF only gave away 2000 tickets to the match against Costa Rica to try the new system to prevent the anti-gay chants, but they weren’t expecting the backlash after El Tri couldn’t even score, which is why Televisa decided to cut short the broadcasting.
