It’s clear that things are not working for Chivas, as neither of the three authority figures in the structure of El Rebaño Sagrado have found a way of helping the team leaving the bad streak in which they are, as they’ve only won two games in the current season.

Ricardo Peláez finally decided to do something given the crisis that Chivas is in

But only one of those victories has been in the last five games, which says a lot about the crisis El Rebaño are going through. One of the things that has become evident is that as long as Marcelo Michel Leaño is on Chivas’ bench, they won’t be able to contend for any title.

Ricardo Peláez has become a waste of space, as it’s become evident that he has no voice over what happens in Verde Valle, as he wasn’t the one that decided to place Marcelo Michel Leaño in Chivas bench, but also can’t fire him.

But it seems that Amaury Vergara doesn’t see things that way, as he isn’t too worried about the current performances of El Rebaño and hasn’t said a thing about the lack of aspirations that Chivas have, backing up the project established by Michel Leaño, even if there’s a Mexican coach that has the resumé to coach El Rebaño.

Who is the coach that wants to arrive in Chivas?

In an interview for ESPN, the Mexican coach Benjamin Mora said that his dream is to coach in Liga MX one day, as he currently is coaching in the Malaysian league, where he’s won nine titles, one of them was this year.

Mora is coaching Johor Darul Ta'zim, and although he said that he’s not in a hurry for leaving Malaysia, if an offer from Liga MX arrives, he would consider it. He also said that if it was his choice, he would like to coach one of the big teams, either Chivas or Club América.

But for now, he’s happy and has adapted to the lifestyle in Malaysia, and although he was born and raised in Mexico, he said that his soccer life has been outside Mexican soil, which is why teams like Chivas haven’t consider him to return to the country.
