This afternoon Rodrigo Aguirre made the Estadio Victoria Aguascalientes vibrate as he opened the scoring for the Rayos in the Necaxa vs Tigres match.

More news about Necaxa:

Who is Alan Medina Camacho, the player who opened the scoring for Necaxa against Pumas UNAM?

The Uruguayan striker scored the first goal in an intense match in which everyone thought the Rayos was going to be wiped off the field.

But it was Tigres who were suffering as Jaime Lozano's Necaxa took advantage of counterattacks and scored two goals before the first half-hour of the match.

This was Rodrigo Aguirre's goal for the Rayos in the Necaxa vs Tigres duel

The match began as expected, with Tigres dominating the Necaxa area and in minute 6 they made their first attack, but it did not end in a goal.

However, the Felinos' dominance was only apparent, as soon as Tigres got careless, a well-executed counterattack by the team from Aguascalientes ended with a shot by Aguirre on Nahuel Guzmán's goal.

The Tigres goalkeeper could do nothing to stop the shot and the Uruguayan forward made it 1-0. But the score would not stay that way, as, before the end of the first half, the second goal was scored.

Jesús Escoboza scored the Rayos' second goal

After the goal, Tigres were erased from the field, and neither Florian Thauvin nor André Pierre-Gignac were neutralized by Jaime Lozano's defense, and their attacks on the Necaxa are diminished.

The Rayos' second goal came in the 25th minute, when, from a Rayos corner kick, Jesús Escoboza managed to powerfully head the ball past Nahuel Guzmán once again.

In this way, Jaime Lozano's Necaxa obtained a partial victory before the end of the first half, and now, while waiting for the match to restart, the Aguascalientes club will try to continue playing well against Tigres.

Will Jaime Lozano's revenge on Tigres come true?

There had been a lot of talk in the Mexican media that this match would be an opportunity for Jaime Lozano to take revenge on Tigres de la UANL since when he was a player and arrived at that club, his experience was not a good one.

What happened was that the board of directors of the Felinos did not like some comments made by Lozano after the "Voolcán" won 3-0 against Puebla in a match of the Apertura 2007.

These statements were so badly received that, as a punishment, the board sent Lozano to the Tigres B team, in the First Division A of Liga MX, which at that time was the Second Division of Mexican soccer.

Lozano played in that team for 3 rounds of Liga MX, until his return in Round 14.

Therefore, the Mexican sports media pointed out that today was the perfect opportunity for Jaime Lozano to take revenge on Tigres.
