The 24-year-old astonished all Liga MX 2022 fans by scoring against Pumas UNAM, one of the 4 big four in Mexican soccer, and his own home, the Estadio Olimpico Universitario

Who is Alan Medina Camacho?

Alan Medina Camacho is a Mexican soccer player, who plays as a midfielder and his current team is Club Necaxa of Liga MX, with which he stood out today.

He did so by opening the scoring at the Estadio Olímpico Universitario against Pumas UNAM, showing that at 24 years of age, the player is not afraid of anything or anyone.

Medina Camacho was born in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico on August 19, 1997, and began his soccer career at a very young age, joining Toluca's lower leagues.

Due to his good performance, the player was promoted to the first team and achieved the goal of every soccer player who starts his career: he made his debut with the Diablos Rojos on August 8, 2018, in the Copa MX, in a Tijuana vs. Toluca match.

But his moment of consecration as a professional would come in a match of Round 1 of the Clausura 2019 tournament, in a match in which the Diablos Rojos del Toluca would beat Monarcas Morelia with a score of 2-1.

Which other teams have Alan Medina Camacho played for?

The midfielder ended his career with Toluca in 2021 and did so after playing 36 games with the Diablos Rojos, in which he scored 4 goals and provided 2 assists, to start his next adventure: playing for Club América.

However, his time with the Aguilas did not go as he had hoped, due to the fierce competition within the club. That is why his numbers at the Coapa club were not as good as the ones he had at Toluca.

With the Aguilas, Medina Camacho played only 6 games in which he did not score any goals, and only provided 1 goal assist, so on June 22, 2021, he was loaned to Necaxa.

And it was just in this club that today, Medina Camacho scored a goal against Pumas UNAM at home, with a brilliant play orchestrated by Dieter Villalpando

Villalpando was pressuring the Universitarios out of their area and managed to win a ball, which he sent as a filtered pass to the young Medina.

He did not waste the opportunity and after beating Alfredo Talavera, he managed to connect the ball to the near post, which went into the back of the net to open the scoring for the Rayos.
