The rumor that for Liga MX 2022, Juan Jose Macias could return to Mexico to play for Club America, has put Chivas fans on alert, who have labeled this possibility as a betrayal

It is important to remember that Macias is a player who was part of the basic forces of Chivas, a team whose eternal and hated rival has always been the Aguilas del America

The rumor would probably not have gained momentum if it were not for the fact that this move is being orchestrated by the player's agent.

Where did the rumor that J.J. Macias would go to Club America come from?

The rumor came from journalist Josh Mendoza, who claimed on his Twitter account that the Mexican striker's agent contacted the Aguilas to offer them the Chivas youth academy player.

This is due to the fact that the situation with Getafe has not been at all favorable for the young striker.

According to the journalist's information, Macias has 6 months left on loan with Getafe, who wants to get rid of the Mexican, and Chivas does not want him back

Macias's complicated stay at Getafe

The time that the Mexican striker has spent at Getafe has been very complicated, as he has barely played 200 minutes and scored zero goals.

And has also had to deal with an injury that has prevented him from being a starter in the team.

Macias' drama with the Spanish team began when Michel Gonzalez became the team's coach.

Gonzalez had just finished his time in Mexico managing Pumas UNAM and saw the Chivas striker in action when he scored a goal against the Auriazules on matchday 8 of the Clausura 2021 in February.

Macias made his debut with Getafe against Valencia, a match in which he played 23 minutes. To make matters worse, Michel Gonzalez's ineffectiveness led the team to dismiss him and look for a new coach.

The arrival of Quique Sanchez Flores made the situation even worse for the former Chivas player, as he was not even called upon on six occasions.

In addition, the player has been injured three times in a span of four months.

With all this context, it is perfectly understandable that his manager wants to move his player to another club where he can look for more prominence.

But to Club America?

Although so far there are still no talks between the two institutions, and only the offer from his agent is known, it is highly likely that Getafe will manage to get rid of the Mexican.

Whether the player lands in the club considered as the most hated rival of the team that saw him born as a professional.

There are also rumors that the player could return to Mexico to play for Leon, the team where he also played.

However, the coin is in the air and Chivas fans are really worried that a player who was formed in their club will go to play for their oldest rival.

Will J.J. Macias make it to Club America? Only time will tell.
