In order to open space for the new acquisitions, Club América kicks out these two players
The two players will join Necaxa on a 1-year loan.
Club América is set to rebuild its squad after Santiago Solari’s expectations, and finally the Argentinean coach will have the players he wants, something that will put more pressure for him as he now will have less room for excuses as Las Águilas are contenders for becoming Clausura 2022 champions.
Although the additions of Paul Arriola, Alejandro Zendejas, Jorge Meré and Pablo Solari can excite fans and will improve América’s roster, not everything is good news for the current squad, as they will have to open spots for the newcomers.
Fernando Madrigal and Antonio “Chucho” López will be the sacrificed players from the current roster, as they will be playing for Necaxa. They both will join Los Rayos on a 1-year loan that were part of the negotiations for Zendejas, who will arrive in El Nido in the next few days.
Madrigal and López numbers with Club América
Fernando Madrigal joined Club América six months ago out of Club Querétaro. He only played 15 games with Las Águilas and managed to score one goal. “Chucho” López was formed in América’s Academy teams before joining the senior squad in 2018. He played a total of 58 games for Las Águilas.
