La Máquina went into La Fiera's lair and with a goal from 'Brujo' Antuna took the three points that have them fighting for the overall lead after four rounds.

Uriel Antuna showed that he is still on fire in front of goal and, thanks to the fact that he was alert to a rebound given by Rodolfo Cota, the striker managed to score the only goal of the match at the 29-minute mark. It was all part of a great Celeste play that started on the left flank and ended with a shot by Bryan Angulo and Antuna's shot back.

Jesús Corona was key in the victory

León tried to react, but could not achieve the same level of effectiveness as in other games, although they did have scoring chances in which Chuy Corona intervened, especially at the end of the game.

Corona saved his goal after a long-range shot by Luis Montes and then saved the Cementero team with a spectacular save on a header by Jaine Barreiro, who placed the ball low and powerfully, provoking the goalkeeper's reflexes.

With 10 points and a strong soccer performance, La Máquina is once again raising its hand to be among the candidates for the title, as it has already mastered La Fiera, runner-up in the Liga MX.

Juan Reynoso is building a championship squad

Star players such as Jonathan Rodríguez and Luis Romo, to name a couple, have left. But Cruz Azul is putting its pieces together like a puzzle.

La Máquina shares the lead and Juan Reynoso has a lot of merit, as he has polished the level of some players who had lost prominence with their respective teams, such as Carlos Rodríguez and Uriel Antuna, while others, such as Juan Escobar and Rafael Baca, who were at a low level in the previous semester, are returning to their best stages of soccer brilliance. This team is hungry again.

Cruz Azul plays very well on the counter

The team's new signings have brought a lot of freshness to the attack. Uriel Antuna has shown that when he makes good decisions he can be one of the most dangerous players in Liga BBVA MX. The former Chivas player appears all over the field in a matter of seconds and generates suffocating pressure on the rival defense. Against León, he stole a ball in rival territory, which led to La Máquina's only goal.

But there are other elements, such as Alejandro Mayorga and Carlos Rodríguez himself, who have understood that Cruz Azul must press from the opposing side. There were times when the Cementeros looked like a real bullet train, especially in the first half, because in the second half they lacked physical strength, something to work on.
