Good news for Azulcremas fans! Club América is launching its documentary series on Netflix and here you can find out what it's about and when it premieres.
Fernando Ortíz already knows who is going to be his first addition for Club América
The documentary, called América vs América, is produced by the streaming platform Netflix, making the Coapa club the first Mexican soccer team to have its documentary on the popular digital content service.
This documentary will show the public the intimacy of the Coapa club and will follow the steps of players, coaching staff, and fans of Club América in their day-to-day life at the team.
It will also show and talk about topics such as contract renewals, family relationships, contact with the press, pressure, and everything that it means to belong to this club.
Through its six chapters, this documentary series will show everything this team has had to deal with to become a benchmark in Mexican soccer, having won 13 league titles, in addition to other international trophies.
Although Netflix has already started the promotional campaign for this documentary, they have not yet announced the premiere date, although it will surely be sometime in 2022.
In any case, it is very certain that when this documentary series is released, both Netflix and Club América itself will carry out a promotional campaign to publicize the date of its premiere.
The documentary will premiere this 2022, a year in which the Águilas del América have had a rebirth worthy of a phoenix since after having had a dismal start to the Clausura 2022 tournament, the team has managed to get back on track.
After being defeated in several matches at the beginning of the tournament, especially by teams of a very low level such as Atlético San Luis and Mazatlán, the Azulcrema board of directors lost patience with Santiago Solari.
As a result, the club decided to fire him and replaced him with Fernando Ortiz, who served as coach of the Águilas' youth teams, as interim coach.
And although everything indicated that Ortiz would only stay until the end of the tournament, the change he has brought about in the team's performance has been such that the board of directors is considering leaving him as head coach.
As a result, the club has experienced a drama in this tournament, which is why it seems quite appropriate that the Aguilas' documentary series will be released this year.
Diego Valdés will play in Qatar 2022 thanks to this national team
