It is more than clear that at least in this Liga MX 2022 the team that rules in Guadalajara is not Chivas, but Atlas, the team that eliminated the Rebaño Sagrado in the Liguilla in the Quarterfinals.

And with such a resounding defeat, it is normal for tempers to flare and for some players to want to take their anger out on social networks, which is why Cristian Calderón of Chivas started a fight through social networks with Edgar Zaldívar of Atlas.

The fight started when through his Instagram account, Cristian "Chicote" Calderón wrote a mockery of Edgar Zaldívar in his Instagram post in which the Atlas player was celebrating the title that his club won in the Apertura 2021 tournament. 

It is worth remembering that this title is only the second that the club obtains since the first was in 1951, so "Chicote" Calderón decided to annoy the Atlas player and wrote to him in his publication: "they are missing 10, hahahahahahahahahahahaha".

The comment was written by Calderón shortly after Atlas eliminated Chivas, emphasizing that Club Deportivo Guadalajara has 12 league titles, while the Zorros have just 2. 

To this, Zaldívar did not remain silent and responded to his comment: "How many have you, my vocalist of the band Los Guacamayos de Tepic? According to you we would never be champions and we were before you".

As a result of this, "Chicote" Calderón, who has not won a single league title, deleted his comment and everyone thought that the conflict would end there, however, someone decided to respond to Zaldívar to fuel the fight.

Cristian Calderón's wife entered the fray

Adriana Castillo, Cristian Calderón's wife, decided that what Zaldívar wrote to her husband was not going to go unanswered and from her Instagram account she responded to the Atlas player. 

Castillo wrote to Zaldívar on Instagram stories to respond and tell him that "someday he will be on the floor" and that despite the fact that right now his team is the champion of Mexican soccer, they are still far from what Chivas has achieved. 

"Do you want your truths? Every action has a reaction, how do you start talking bad about a player who is at a higher level than you? Life takes many turns and at any moment you can be on the floor," Calderón's wife responded. 

"And yes, you're 10 short! I have always been and will continue to be a Chivista at heart and proudly so. We will continue to triumph, no matter who it hurts. Not everyone has the great opportunity," ended Adriana Castillo's response.
