Now that the regular season of Clausura 2022 is over, teams are planning next season, even if they still have chances of becoming protagonists in Liguilla, like Chivas, who already started conversations with the player that will become their first addition for next season.

Inside El Rebaño Sagrado they know that they need to strengthen the squad even if they managed to have a finish strong on the last four games of Clausura 2022, as the current roster can play overwhelmingly but they also have showed that they can easily be overcome.

Although for now Ricardo Cadena and the roster are focused on having a positive outcome in Repechaje, where they will face Pumas UNAM on Sunday night in Estadio Akron, they are also aware that changes are coming to the locker room as soon as their participation is over.

Luckily for them, they know what it means to face Los Universitarios, as one of the victories that have them on a 4-game winning streak was against Pumas, where El Rebaño Sagrado earn the three points after defeating Pumas 3-1.

The first addition for Apertura 2022 comes from Europe

Despite the results that El Rebaño Sagrado can have in the playoffs, Amaury Vergara and Ricardo Peláez knows that having again an irregular season like Clausura 2022 won’t be tolerated, which is why they’re planning on strengthening the squad as much as possible.

One of the problems they're facing is the low economic solvency they currently have, but they're trying that it doesn't stop them from finding good quality players, which is why, according to reports from Peloteros CQ, they want to add Orbelín Pineda.

"El Maguito" joined La Liga side Celta de Vigo as a free agent over the winter transfer window, but given the little playing time he's had with the first team, as Eduardo "Chacho" Coudet doesn't have a place for him in the lineup, Pineda is looking to leave the Celtistas on a loan.

Can he arrive at Chivas?

Orbelín Pineda signed a 5-year contract with Celta de Vigo that ties him to them until 2027, which the only possible way he can leave over the summer is on a loan, as Carlos Mouriño doesn't intend on selling him anytime soon.

Although they are trying to place Pineda in another La Liga team, so he can earn playing time as well as adapt to Spanish soccer, Celta de Vigo is not closed to loan him to Liga MX, where Chivas and Cruz Azul are pursuing his loan.
