Football. Soccer. Both words are mixed in some parts of the world, but when it comes to identifying Tom Brady and Cristiano Ronaldo there are no more confusions. They are among the best one in the respective history of their sports. Without any doubt, they are excellent, talent and competitive. But is anyone better than the other?
The discussion raised in social media according on their career records. 43-year-old Brady has just advanced to his 10th Super Bowl, having won six out of the nine he has played. On February 7th he will face Kansas City Chiefs with his team, Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In case the Buccaneers win, he will count seven Super Bowls.
As for Cristiano Ronaldo, he appeared in his first UEFA Champions League Final in 2008, playing for Manchester United. Despite he missed his penalty in the shootout, his team lifted the trophy. One year later the Red Devils lost to Barcelona. Then, in 2014, he started his amazing streak with Real Madrid, beating Atlético de Madrid 4-1, and repeating in the penalty shoot-out in 2016. He also lifted the trophy in 2017 and 2018, against Juventus and Liverpool, respectively.
Brady is 43 years old and has won six out of nine Super Bowls, possibly seven out of 10. Cristiano Ronaldo, turning 36 in a few days, has lifted the Champions League trophy five times out of six, with a few seasons left in his career. Who of them is the best?
