This coach will end with the corruption in El Tri when he arrives

During his stint with Mexico National Team, a lot of goalkeepers have tried to steal his spot, something that was complicated, to say the least, when he was playing in Europe, as he became the first Mexican goalkeeper to play in Europe.

One of those goalkeepers was Alejandro “Pikolin” Palacios, who played for Pumas most of his career and even was Liga MX champion with Los Universitarios on 4 occasions. He was part of the first Liga MX club to be back-to-back champion in short tournaments. But not even with his impressing resumé, Palacios was able to beat Ochoa as the starter for El Tri.

What does Alejandro Palacios do now?

After playing a couple of seasons with Atlético San Luis, Palacios retired in 2018 when he didn’t renew his contract with Los Potosinos. “Pikolin” decided to being involved with the soccer industry and decided to open a Taco shop in Mexico City, which he still owns to this day.
