We have all seen Neymar and Lionel Messi posting images about their tattoos and how they have pictures expressing their beginnings and their countries. The number 10 on Messi’s leg and the favelas all around Neymar’s body are some of them. But why has Ronaldo never made one?

This is not random, there is a really important reason for Cristiano that makes him decide to never get any sort of tattoo. He is an usual marrow, blood and plasma donor. His privileged physical allows him to donate almost every month and if he gets a tattoo, he cannot make any donation.

Cristiano Ronaldo posts images on Instagram when he makes the donation and that is really helpful to his personal image and brand. He cares about health care and this is an important movement that shows that tattoos are not essential for any person, or at least that is what he wants to tell people.

If you get a tattoo, you need to wait at least four months to make any kind of donation, and it depends on the size of the tattoo. While Neymar, Messi, and a lot of players decide to show their designs, he is almost the only top player that made such an important decision.
