Zinedine Zidane cut the new himself and he is set to leave Real Madrid

Just four years ago, he was Zinedine Zidane's favourite at Real Madrid. He was already impressing, he had earned his spot in the starting eleven and was supposed to become even better, earning the nickname of a new Zizou. But that was just his peak. After consistent bad performances and gaining  weight he was never the same again.

With time, their relationship became even worse. Just one month ago, there was a streak of bad results and a group of benched players, with him as one of the leaders, wanted Zidane to resign. But the team went back to winning and the clashes in the dressing room were almost forgotten.

But anyway, he will not have the career he wants at Real Madrid, and as it was reported by Diario AS, Isco wants to leave the club and join Sevilla. He desires to play again under Julen Lopetegui, who coached him for a while in the Blancos and Spain national team. The only thing unsure is the moment, because Zidane would not be keen to lose a player in the winter transfer window.

However, that transfer would not be cheap, because Florentino Perez will ask for 20 million euro. This way, Real Madrid would receive a good fee for a bench player and would save the seven millions of wages he earns every year. Anyway, this is not impossible, because all the interested parts want the transfer to happen.
