Real Madrid is going through a moment of deep change and transformation. The Spanish side could see Sergio Ramos departure after more than 15 years and both president Florentino Pérez and head coach Zinedine Zidane are working to try to find his replacement.

Ramos's contract expires on June 2021 and there are chances for him to leave the Galacticos. His arrival in the club occurred on August 2005, when he moved from Sevilla C.F. for just $30 million. Since then, he transformed himself into one of the best defenders of the world, but now he could be moving as Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Miami are interested on him.

If Ramos leaves, he will leave no money to the club as he will do so as a free agent. That is the main reason why Real Madrid is also working on making a signing that could cost no money for them and can reunite conditions similar to the ones of the historical central defender.

The one spotted that was a player that Zidane liked but that could at the end not arrive is David Alaba. Aged 28, he has been playing for Bayern Munich since 2009 and will end his contract with the club in June 2021. The chance of leaving as a free agent make many teams want him and Manchester United is very near to make a bid a steal him to Real Madrid, that was the first interested.
