Chivas is facing the end of a regular season in which they couldn’t do very well, and they experienced several problems. The Mexican side didn’t make it into the top four teams on the tournament and also had some problems with undisciplined players who had to be sanctioned.

After all, head coach Víctor Vucetich and sport adviser Ricardo Peláez decided that those who had undisciplined acts, as Eduardo López, José Juan Vázquez and Alexis Peña, aren’t going to play again for the Rebaño Sagrado. To that we need to add that J.J. Macías probably won’t continue at the club and the same could happen to Dieter Villalpando.

To make the squad for the next season, Chivas will be needing some reinforcements. Luis Montes, historic offensive midfielder from León, has been invited by journalist Mariana Zacarías from Mediotiempo and Milenio to play for Chivas, saying that he could look very good using the red and white colors.

Luis Montes was formed as a player at Indios, left to Pachuca in 2007 and finally arrived to León on July 2011 on a loan and definitively on the same month in 2013. He made an entire career at Liga MX and could be the one replacing Eduardo López using no. 10. For León, he played 343 games and or Pachuca 109, scoring a total of 64 goals between both sides.
