Last weekend, Necaxa and Mazatlan FC, the newest Liga MX team, allowed fans to enter to their stadiums to cheer up their teams. They were the first two clubs to allow the public to return to stadiums. Immediately, the images were viralized in the social media and a question was repeated: Is it safe for fans to go to the soccer stadiums?

In Aguascalientes, Necaxa's stadium, the fans respected the distance between them. However, some of them didn't used their mandatory masks, failed to covered their noses or even took their masks off. Without a doubt, it was an irresponsibility that can have consequences.

On the other hand, the fans who went to the Mazatlan stadium did not even respect the distance recommended between them. After the 3-1 victory over Juarez, fans were filmed celebrating the victory all together. Also, inside the stadium they did not use their masks properly either.

Mexico should take more care of the health of its inhabitants, because it is one of the ten countries with the highest number of coronavirus infections. In total, 847,108 people have been infected and 86,059 people have died because of the coronavirus pandemic.
