Who is the unknown Mexican who could play with Messi at FC Barcelona?

FC Barcelona has been looking for a companion for Lionel Messi since a while. After the departure of Luis Suárez, the club hasn’t been able to provide his greatest legend with a teammate that may help him to carry the Catalan side. Ronald Koeman has tried with Antoine Griezmann, Martin Braithwaite, Ousmane Dembélé and more, but none of the have worked.

While working on the renewal of the contract of their star, sport advisers are trying to find someone who could accompany and the replacement Messi in the future. The player pointed out is a Mexican aged 16 who is called the new Messi, by the international press. He is the youngster attacker Luka Romero.

Born at Durango and living in Spain since a kid, the forward decided to play for Argentina national team. He started his career as a soccer player at Formentera and then passed through PE Sant Jordi, before arriving to Mallorca, the club in which he has been playing since 2015.

Barça has noticed the talent of Romero and think that signing him could be a great opportunity for their future. The kid has only played nine games so far in the Second Division of Spain, scoring already his very first goal.
