European soccer is characterized by its strict compliance with the previously established calendars. This detail is one of those that makes the difference with respect to South American soccer. But this time, due to the pandemic, UEFA has had to modify its dates. This affected the current season, which will be ending in the next few days with the end of the Champions League and the Europa League, but also the next one, for which teams will have fewer days off between one tournament and another.

But as if that were not enough, next season will have Euro 2021 at the end of the calendar, which is set to start on June 11, 2021. To make matters worse, teams playing in European competitions will have a tighter schedule.
