Today, Elon Musk surpassed Jeff Bezos, owner of Amazon, as the richest person in the world. The richest sportsmen are nowhere near the owner of Tesla and Space X, and last year Musk had the quickest raise of millions ever, earning more than 150,000 millions in 2020.

This change that made Musk become the richest in the planet happened when Tesla shares rose 4.8% yesterday, and passed Bezos who had the honor of being the wealthiest person with no interruption since October 2017. As a parameter, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and LeBron James fortunes' combined do not reach even a minimum part of Musk's wealth.

That amount of wealth of those active three sports men is near 300 million dollars: 105 millions are in CR7's hands, while Messi has 104 and the NBA star has 88. Well, the Tesla owner has 188,500 millions. Combined, those sportsmen make near 0.2% of the wealth of who is now the richest.

The richest sportsman in the world is Roger Federer, whose wealth is 106.3 million dollars. But Cristiano Ronaldo has just signed a new Nike contract for life for 1 billion. And that still would not be enough to get close to Musk, whose incredible amount of money is impossible to imagine.
