Víctor Guzmán was formed at Chivas and left to CF Pachuca on January 2017, after being loaned at the club. With a contract remaining until June 2023, there are some options that he goes back to the Rebaño Sagrado, as he has a great relationship with some of the players from Chivas.

Both Uriel Antuna and Alexis Vega posted on social media a message to Guzmán saying that he is the one missing at Chivas. We still need to see what head coach Víctor Vucetich and sport adviser Ricardo Peláez think about the possible signing, as he committed some undisciplined act in the past.

Guzman has a reported value of $6 million actually, after a season in which he played 11 matches for Pachuca and scored four goals. If Chivas decides to sign him that amount of money seems to be high but the Rebaño Sagrado could over some other players in exchange, such as Javier Eduardo López, known as Chofis.

Chivas will now have to face Necaxa on the repêchage, after a season in which they ended on the seventh position on the tournament Guard1nes Liga MX. The club wanted to reach the top four positions but didn’t make it and León, Pumas, América and Cruz Azul ended from one to fourth respectively.
