Chivas finished seventh on tournament Guard1anes after a bad season in which they earned 26 points on 17 games played. The team coached by Víctor Vucetich tried to make it between the top four positions but didn’t make it and will now have to play the first round of the playoffs against Necaxa.

Vucetich is having a very hard time trying to make the starting XI, as Alexis Vega and José Juan Macías are injured. The coach is thinking that the best option is to sit Uriel Antuna and Gilberto Sepúlveda at the bench, as both players traveled to play with Mexico national team and Vucetich wants them to rest.

The decision was very commented on social media, where fans reproached the decision of the coach, considering that both Antuna and Sepúlveda should be from the starting XI next Saturday. The decision of sitting Antuna was the more criticized one, as he is going to a great moment and is Chivas greatest attacker.

For now, Vucetich will line-up Oribe Peralta and Antonio Briseño as the replacements of those two who played with the national team. A defeat from Chivas could trigger a complete disaster on the club, after a season marked to the sanctions imposed to the undisciplined players from the squad.
